EU Workshop

Brussels Park

In my capacity as Co-Director of the Open Library of Humanities (OLH), I was recently invited to give a talk at a workshop organised by the European Commission, Alternative Open Access Publishing Models. My talk offered an overview of the innovative business model that we are pioneering at the OLH, which publishes gold open access journal articles with no author-facing charges (APCs).

You can download the slides from my talk here: http://ec.europa.eu/digital-agenda/en/news/save-date-12-oct-ec-workshop-alternative-open-access-publishing-models (click on my name)

A Storify of tweets from the event (using the hashtag #AlterOA, which was a top trending tweet in The Netherlands during the event) can be found here: http://sfy.co/b0nfl

My presentation can be viewed in the event's livestream: https://scic.ec.europa.eu/streaming/workshop-on-alternative-oa-publishing-models (it starts at 1:58 mins)
