Subjectivity
In September 2008 I co-organised a one-day AHRC-funded international conference with Dr Matthew Mead and Dr Alexander Dunst at the University of Nottingham titled "New Radical Subjectivities: Rethinking Agency for the 21st Century." The conference attracted a diverse range of scholars from around the world, whose work interrogates radical politics, new forms of collective politics, interracial solidarities, actor networks, Marxist and Lacanian theory, discursive constructions of the social, the role of memory and the philosophy of Alain Badiou.
I co-edited a special issue of the journal Subjectivity (Volume 4, Issue 1, 2011) with Dr Alexander Dunst.
